Faced with an impossible choice, he sacrificed his family to save the village and his little brother Sasuke, the only survivor he spared. He then took on the role of the criminal so Sasuke would hate him and grow stronger. That truth, revealed after his death, made Itachi a tragic figure of Masashi Kishimoto's manga.

Itachi's Mangekyo Sharingan grants him three legendary techniques. Tsukuyomi traps his target in an illusion where he controls perceived time, able to break a mind in a single second. Amaterasu casts unquenchable black flames that burn whatever he looks at. Susanoo finally wraps him in a spectral warrior armed with the Totsuka blade and the Yata mirror, a defence reputed to be impregnable.

The artwork stacks several layers of cut paper that gain depth once lit by the LEDs, inside a rigid free-standing frame. A dry cloth is enough to dust the front panel. Keep the box away from moisture and direct sunlight so the paper does not warp or fade. The LEDs stay cool, so the artwork does not wear out with use.

The box runs either on the included one-metre USB cable or on batteries, so you can place it away from any plug. The included remote sets 7 colours, brightness and dynamic modes, with on and off switching from a distance. Red obviously honours the Sharingan, while a warm white turns the box into a discreet night light. The parcel contains the box, the cable and the remote.
