Cosplay de Nami: por dónde empezar y qué versión elegir

Quiénes somos.
En resumen: el cosplay de Nami se monta con tres piezas, y la más barata es la que más importa. La peluca naranja de 29,99 euros consigue el reconocimiento ella sola, el disfraz completo cuesta 49,99 euros y el bañador 24,99 euros. Las tres tallan pequeño: pide una talla más.
¿Qué versión de Nami elegir?
Es lo primero que hay que decidir, porque Nami cambia de ropa más que ningún otro personaje de One Piece. Tres opciones aguantan bien en una convención.
El conjunto naranja y blanco posterior al salto temporal es el más reconocido: es el que la gente tiene en la cabeza. El bikini con pareo del arco de Alabasta es el más fácil de montar y el más adecuado para convenciones de verano. El mono blanco con capucha del arco de Egghead es el más reciente y el menos visto, así que el que más destaca, pero exige costura.

La peluca hace al personaje, no el disfraz
El pelo naranja de Nami es su firma. Con la peluca y un conjunto aproximado te reconocen; con el disfraz exacto y tu pelo natural, mucho menos. Por eso la peluca de Nami de 29,99 euros es la primera compra, antes que el disfraz.
Dos opiniones de clientes dicen lo esencial, y la segunda es una advertencia real. Ariah Atkins: «peluca genial, el pelo es suave y fácil de peinar». Silvia Domínguez, más matizada: «tiene mucho pelo, pero en mi opinión es un poco demasiado brillante para el pelo de Nami, es más bien un naranja rubio». Es honesto y tiene arreglo: con luz cálida la diferencia apenas se ve en foto, y un espray de color mate rebaja el brillo si te molesta.
Joseph Kelly añade la lección que todo el mundo aprende por las malas: «la peluca es preciosa y de buena calidad, pero habrá que peinarla antes de mi próxima convención». Una peluca recién sacada de la bolsa no parece nada. Calcula media hora de peinado la víspera, no la misma mañana.
Calcula 80 euros para peluca más disfraz, que es el punto de equilibrio. Por 55 euros, peluca más bañador, ya tienes un cosplay completo y creíble para una convención de verano.
Las tallas: el punto que sale en todas las opiniones
Como todo el catálogo, la ropa está cortada con tallaje asiático. Laura Torres, clienta mexicana, da la referencia más útil que hemos recibido: «llegó rápido, fue talla chica, le quedó perfecto a mi hija que mide 1,62 y pesa 60 kg. Precio calidad 10/10». Dicho de otro modo, una talla marcada como S viste lo que en Europa sería una M.
Sobre el bañador, Laura Boonen, en Bélgica, zanja la duda más habitual: «me encanta, es muy bonito y cómodo. Al principio tenía miedo de que la parte de arriba no me quedara, pero sí. Pedí una S». Austin Brooks, en Australia, lo confirma: «increíble, queda perfecto y luce muy bien con el resto del conjunto, y muy bien de precio».
La regla sencilla: pide una talla más de la habitual, y hazlo un mes antes de la convención para tener margen de cambio.

El Clima-Tact, y cómo apañárselas sin él
Es el accesorio que le falta a la mayoría de cosplays de Nami, y no está en el catálogo. La buena noticia: en su versión básica, el Clima-Tact es un bastón azul de tres secciones, que se fabrica con tres tubos de PVC pintados y un empalme. Calcula una tarde y unos diez euros.
Dos precauciones de convención. Los bastones de una sola pieza suelen acabar en el guardarropa de la entrada, mientras que un modelo desmontable pasa sin discusión. Y un accesorio hueco y ligero cansa mucho menos en una jornada de diez horas que un mango macizo.
Si no quieres bricolaje, el tatuaje del hombro basta. Es un molinillo con una mandarina que un rotulador de tatuaje temporal reproduce en diez minutos, y se ve en todas las fotos de tres cuartos.
En dúo o con toda la tripulación
Nami funciona especialmente bien en grupo, porque su silueta contrasta con la de los demás miembros. La combinación más legible sigue siendo Nami y Zoro: pelo naranja contra pelo verde, nadie se equivoca.
