En resumen: LEGO One Piece llega a Netflix el 29 de septiembre de 2026, con los dos episodios el mismo día. El estudio canadiense Atomic Cartoons rehace las temporadas 1 y 2 de la serie de imagen real íntegramente en ladrillos, con Usopp de narrador y los seis actores del live action poniendo voz a sus propios personajes.
¿Cuándo se estrena LEGO One Piece en Netflix?
El 29 de septiembre de 2026, en todos los países donde opera Netflix y con los dos episodios a la vez. La fecha ya venía en el anuncio del proyecto, el 7 de abril de 2026, y no se ha movido desde entonces. El 20 de agosto de 2026 Netflix publicó el tráiler completo y una tanda de imágenes.

La publicación coincidió con el Anime NYC, celebrado del 20 al 23 de agosto de 2026 en el Javits Center de Nueva York. Lo que está cerrado: la fecha, el formato en dos partes, el reparto de voces, el estudio y el planteamiento narrativo. Lo que no: la duración de los episodios, que ni Netflix ni LEGO han comunicado. El póster habla de una Netflix limited series, es decir, una historia cerrada y no una serie de largo recorrido.
¿Qué cuenta el especial doble de LEGO One Piece?
Los dos episodios rehacen las temporadas 1 y 2 de la serie de imagen real, desde el East Blue hasta la entrada en el Grand Line. Usopp le cuenta esas aventuras a Tony Tony Chopper, el último en subir a bordo. Como el narrador es el mayor mentiroso del barco, su versión no pretende ser exacta.
El vídeo de anuncio, donde Usopp empieza su relato a Chopper, se abre al hacer clic en la imagen.
Tom Hyndman, showrunner y guionista, explica la decisión en Netflix Tudum: «Queríamos hacer algo que introdujera a los nuevos espectadores en el enorme mundo de ONE PIECE y a la vez diera a los seguidores de siempre una mirada nueva y divertida sobre las historias de las dos primeras temporadas». Poner a Usopp a narrar resuelve un problema clásico de adaptación: meter veinte horas de serie en dos episodios obliga a cortar, exagerar y saltarse pasos. Cuando el que habla es Usopp, esos atajos pasan a ser el chiste en vez del defecto.
Las imágenes difundidas el 20 de agosto cubren las dos mitades. Para la primera, Buggy el Payaso sobre el escenario de su carpa y los gyojin de Arlong Park. Para la segunda, Chopper en los pasillos del castillo de Drum.
¿Quién pone las voces en LEGO One Piece?
La tripulación completa del live action, en versión original. Iñaki Godoy (Luffy), Emily Rudd (Nami), Mackenyu (Zoro), Jacob Romero (Usopp), Taz Skylar (Sanji) y Mikaela Hoover (Chopper) doblan a sus propios personajes en los dos episodios. Anime News Network añade a Charithra Chandran como Miss Wednesday, Katey Sagal como la doctora Kureha, Jeff Ward como Buggy y Callum Kerr como Smoker.
El primer teaser, publicado en julio, se abre al hacer clic en la imagen.
Hyndman cuenta en Tudum lo que eso cambió en el estudio de grabación: «Nos permitió soltarnos del todo en las sesiones, porque no hacía falta tiempo extra para que encontraran al personaje: ellos son el personaje». Añade que esa libertad dejó momentos improvisados que acabaron en los episodios. Sobre el doblaje al español no hay nada comunicado a fecha de 22 de agosto de 2026.
¿Quién hace LEGO One Piece?
Atomic Cartoons, estudio de animación con sede en Vancouver, conocido por Spidey y su superequipo. El proyecto se levanta junto a la editorial japonesa Shueisha, el grupo LEGO y Tomorrow Studios, la productora detrás de la serie de imagen real.
Chelsea Ker dirige los dos episodios. Tom Hyndman es showrunner, guionista y productor ejecutivo. Eiichiro Oda, autor del manga, figura como productor ejecutivo junto a Jill Wilfert, Keith Malone y Lars Danielsen por LEGO, y Marty Adelstein y Becky Clements por Tomorrow Studios. Esa continuidad de producción explica que las minifiguras se parezcan a los actores y no a los personajes del manga: el punto de partida visual es la serie de Netflix, no las páginas de Oda.

El remake animado merece una parada. Wit Studio retoma el manga desde el capítulo 1 con Masashi Koizuka en la dirección, Hideaki Abe como director adjunto y Taku Kishimoto en los guiones. Mayumi Tanaka, que dobla a Luffy desde 1999 en la serie de Toei, repite en el papel. La primera imagen promocional, revelada el 20 de agosto de 2026, recrea la doble página en color que abría «Romance Dawn», el capítulo inicial. Siete episodios para cincuenta capítulos salen a unos siete capítulos por episodio, un ritmo que no se parece en nada al del anime clásico.
La temporada 3 del live action, subtitulada The Battle of Alabasta, terminó su rodaje en Ciudad del Cabo en 2026 para estrenarse en 2027. No hay fecha concreta. ¿Existen de verdad los sets de LEGO One Piece?
Sí, y el catálogo es más amplio de lo que la serie deja intuir. La gama arrancó el 1 de agosto de 2025 con siete referencias, entre ellas The Going Merry Pirate Ship (75639), de 1.376 piezas. Una segunda oleada salió el 1 de agosto de 2026, con reservas abiertas desde el 9 de abril, y sigue de cerca los escenarios de la temporada 2.

Los nombres son los de la comunicación de LEGO, en inglés. Jay's Brick Blog recoge una séptima referencia, la Fruta Gomu Gomu (75647, 482 piezas, 69,99 EUR), que no aparece en la página de anuncio del fabricante: conviene comprobarla en tienda antes de contar con ella. La relación con el especial doble salta a la vista al poner las dos listas en paralelo: Drum, Little Garden, Smoker y Chopper son exactamente los escenarios del segundo episodio. Netflix incluso lo plantea en su propia presentación, invitando a localizar en los sets las piezas vistas en pantalla.
¿Hay que haber visto la serie de imagen real antes del 29 de septiembre?
No. El especial doble está construido como puerta de entrada: Usopp se lo cuenta todo a Chopper, que no conoce nada de la historia, así que el espectador queda en el mismo punto que él. Hyndman lo dice sin rodeos en su entrevista con Tudum, la idea es acoger a los recién llegados tanto como a los veteranos.
Netflix lo clasifica como 7+, lo que lo convierte en la versión más accesible de One Piece para poner en manos de un niño. Si aun así quieres adelantar trabajo, las dos temporadas del live action suman menos de veinte horas y están siempre disponibles en la plataforma.
