In short: the Mega Evolution—Delta Reign expansion (ME06) hit store shelves worldwide on Friday, November 6, 2026. Over 135 cards, four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex led by Mega Rayquaza ex, back in a main expansion for the first time since 2015, plus a table-changing novelty: two-piece Legendary Stadiums. Here are the cards worth chasing, the product to start with, and how to protect your pulls.
What's inside Delta Reign, released on November 6?
Delta Reign is the sixth expansion in the Pokémon TCG's Mega Evolution series, set code ME06. It has been available in stores worldwide since November 6, 2026, and since the day before on Pokémon TCG Live, with login bonuses to grab. The Pokémon Company's announced lineup: more than 135 cards, including over 20 Trainer cards and over 35 cards with special illustrations.

The expansion logo: Mega Evolution, Delta Reign.
Breaking the set down: four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, six Pokémon ex, six Stadium cards that combine into three Legendary Stadiums, fourteen illustration rares, seventeen ultra rares and six special illustration rares. The main set stops at number 103, the rest lives in the secret cards: published English set lists reach 141 cards in total. Delta Reign carries over most of Japan's Storm Emeralda set, released in late July 2026. The name is no accident either: it nods to the Delta Species cards of the EX era, twenty years ago.

Is Mega Rayquaza ex worth chasing?
Yes, and not just for nostalgia: Mega Rayquaza ex had not appeared in a main expansion since XY—Ancient Origins, back in 2015. Eleven years away, a comeback as card 084/103 with 280 HP, and two secret versions already drawing all the heat, the special illustration rare and the gold one.

Mega Rayquaza ex, illustrated by takuyoa. The dragon coils out of the frame, as every proper Rayquaza card should.
I read the card closely. Its Ruler's Roar Ability triggers when you play Rayquaza from your hand onto your Bench: look at the top four cards of your deck, attach a Basic Energy you find there to this Pokémon, and shuffle the rest to the bottom. Its Storm Emerald attack deals 50 damage for each Fire Energy and each Lightning Energy attached to all of your Pokémon. On a board that stacks Energy, the numbers climb fast, with the same flavor as the old Dragon's Fury days. For a sense of what a sought-after Rayquaza card can be worth ten years on, have a look at our ranking of the most expensive Pokémon cards in the world.
Legendary Stadiums: why do two cards count as one?
This is Delta Reign's brand-new mechanic. A Legendary Stadium exists as two different Stadium cards, unplayable on their own: you combine them from your hand, they count as a single Stadium card once in play, and their artworks join into one panorama. Good news for pack openers, a booster that holds one half always holds the other.

Both halves of Legendary Summit (cards 096 and 097, illustrated by nagimiso): side by side, they rebuild the mountain where the storm rumbles.
The example in front of me, Legendary Summit, carries an effect built for Colorless Pokémon: whenever a Colorless Pokémon, yours or your opponent's, is Knocked Out by damage from an opponent's attack, its owner takes one fewer Prize card. Across six Stadium cards, the set assembles three panoramas. Even if the effect doesn't fit your deck, these pairs will make great binder spreads: it's the first time the Pokémon TCG prints Stadiums as a diptych.
How good are the other three Mega ex?
Mega Golisopod ex, Mega Golurk ex and Mega Malamar ex round out the Mega Evolution quartet, and each of the four fronts its own booster artwork. Golisopod lands at 011/103 with 340 HP, Golurk at 047 and Malamar at 069: three Pokémon that rarely get the spotlight, which is part of this expansion's charm.

Mega Golisopod ex, 340 HP: the silver carapace is credited to 5ban Graphics.
Golisopod's card sets the tone: a first attack at 60 damage that adds 160 more if your opponent's Active Pokémon already has damage counters on it, and a second at 160 that stops the Defending Pokémon from retreating next turn. A finisher, in the literal sense. I won't detail Golurk's and Malamar's effects here, their cards will tell you better than I can, but all three also exist as illustration versions among the secrets. If you follow the series, we ran the same exercise last month on the ME03 expansion.
Which Delta Reign product should you buy first?
It depends on your profile. To sample the set, the three-booster blister and its Seel promo will do. To seriously chase Mega Rayquaza ex, a 36-pack booster display remains the best cards-per-euro ratio. For gifting, the Elite Trainer Box ticks every box with its illustration rare Kyogre promo.
| Product | Contents | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Booster pack | 1 pack, 4 possible artworks, one per Mega ex | The checkout impulse buy |
| Three-booster blister | 3 packs and a Seel promo card | Sampling the set on a budget |
| Booster bundle | 6 packs | The smart middle ground |
| Booster display | 36 packs | Hunting secrets, solo or shared |
| Elite Trainer Box | 9 packs, card sleeves, dice and markers, illustration rare Kyogre promo | The obvious Christmas gift |
A word on prices: The Pokémon Company doesn't publish a recommended retail price in France, and gaps between retailers are real, especially on release week. Compare before you commit, and be wary of discounted displays on marketplaces, resealing happens. Prerelease events at local game stores have been running since late October: if your store hosts opening nights, that's the safest place to buy at a fair price.
How do you protect your pulls right out of the pack?
A seller's rule that's also a player's rule: a special illustration rare goes into a soft sleeve within the minute, then into rigid storage for transport. That's exactly the job of our hard-shell Pokémon card case shaped like a Poké Ball, at 19.99 euros, rated 4.9 out of 5 by 30 customers.
Its PU and waterproof nylon shell takes the knocks so the cards don't, the zip runs all the way around and the strap slips over your wrist. At roughly 15.5 × 12.5 × 7 cm, it swallows a sleeved deck, the week's pulls and a few dice, and fits in a backpack for school or a tournament. Six shells to pick from: Poké Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Master Ball, Friend Ball and the lightning-bolt Poké Ball. Full honesty about the limits: we sell neither sleeves nor binders, the case assumes your rares are already in soft protection. And allow 7 to 21 days for tracked delivery: ordered now, it lands before the Christmas holidays, not necessarily before your first display.
Which Rayquaza and dragon goodies pair with the collection?
If Delta Reign puts you in dragon mode, the shop's Pokémon aisle keeps up: a Rayquaza AirPods case, a metal Rayquaza pin, plus something for Dratini, Garchomp and Giratina people. Prices and ratings below were read off the product pages on November 6.
| Product | Price | Reviews | The gist |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rayquaza AirPods case | 19.99 euros | 4.7/5 on 32 | The green dragon coiled around your earbuds |
| Rayquaza pin | 12.99 euros | 4.9/5 on 23 | Enamel on metal, for a jacket or a tournament bag |
| Dratini metal ring | 14.99 euros | 4.8/5 on 46 | Open band so it adjusts, the subtlest of the lot |
| Garchomp metal pin | 12.99 euros | 5/5 on 14 | Sinnoh's pseudo-dragon, claws out |
| Giratina pin | 12.99 euros | 5/5 on 24 | For Team Distortion World |
| 3D Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur poster | 29.99 euros | 5/5 on 35 | Three starters in relief above the card desk |
Two customer takes to help you judge. On the Rayquaza AirPods case, a French buyer wrote in September 2025 that the material feels nice and cushions impacts well. On the Dratini ring: "Fits well, you can adjust the ring," noted a Dutch customer in June 2026. One honest caveat on that ring, flagged in another Dutch review: the metal leans more rosé than pure silver, worth knowing before gifting. The rest of the aisle, plushies, beanies and cases, lives in the shop's Pokémon collection.
Frequently asked questions about Delta Reign

Friday, November 6, 2026, in stores worldwide. On Pokémon TCG Live, the expansion has been playable since November 5 with login bonuses. The Japanese version, Storm Emeralda, released in late July 2026.
How many cards are in Delta Reign?
More than 135 announced: the main set runs to number 103, and secret cards push published English lists to 141. That includes four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, six Pokémon ex, six Stadium cards, fourteen illustration rares, seventeen ultra rares and six special illustration rares.
What is the most sought-after card in the set?
Mega Rayquaza ex, no contest: it's the card's first return to a main expansion since XY—Ancient Origins in 2015. The regular card is number 084/103, and its special illustration rare and gold versions, tucked among the secrets, are the real chase targets.
What is a Legendary Stadium?
A Stadium card in two halves: two different cards, unplayable alone, combined from your hand and counting as one card once in play. Their artworks form a panorama. A booster containing one half always contains the second, and the set has three pairs.
What's inside the Delta Reign Elite Trainer Box?
Nine booster packs, Mega Rayquaza card sleeves, dice and markers, plus an illustration rare Kyogre promo card. It's the most complete product in the lineup, and the most requested at Christmas, so the first to sell out.
And if the box is headed under the tree, I sorted the rest of our picks by budget, with the order deadline, in the Pokémon Christmas gifts guide for 2026.
