Jump Festa 2027: dates, lineup, tickets and how to watch online

Published on September 29, 2026·Updated on September 30, 2026·By Antoine Brault

A French cosplay and manga goods shop since 2023. We try on the costumes we sell, and we write about the series we actually follow. About us.

In short: Jump Festa 2027 takes place on Saturday December 19 and Sunday December 20, 2026 at Makuhari Messe, next to Tokyo, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entry is free but allocated by lottery through the Jump NAVI app, starting October 19. 34 programs are announced, and all three stages will be streamed live on YouTube.

When and where is Jump Festa 2027 held?

December 19 and 20, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., last entry at 4:30 p.m., in halls 1 to 9 and 11 of Makuhari Messe, the convention center in Chiba, half an hour by train from Tokyo. It is the 28th edition of Shueisha's event, the weekend when the publisher of One Piece, Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen concentrates its end-of-year announcements.

Jump Festa remains a special case among conventions: one single publisher, ten halls, and most of the licenses that dominate manga worldwide gathered in one place on the weekend before Christmas. The event published its dates and title list on September 25, 2026, relayed the same day by the Japanese press (MANTANWEB, Oricon) and on the 28th by English-language outlets.

Which series are on the Jump Festa 2027 lineup?

34 programs across three stages: 15 on the Jump Super Stage, 10 in the Jump Studio and 9 on Jump Station Online, a new stage built for online broadcast. One Piece, Naruto, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family, Dandadan and Kagurabachi headline the Super Stage.

StageProgramsHeadliners
Jump Super Stage15One Piece, Naruto, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kagurabachi
Jump Studio10Bleach, Kaiju No. 8, Witch Watch, Mashle
Jump Station Online9Black Clover, KochiKame, Mission: Yozakura Family

In detail, the Jump Super Stage lines up nine Weekly Shonen Jump titles (One Piece, Naruto, Haikyu!!, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Sakamoto Days, Akane-banashi, Kagurabachi), four from Jump+ (Spy x Family, Chainsaw Man, Dandadan, Oblivion Battery) and two from Jump SQ. (The New Prince of Tennis, World Trigger). The Jump Studio hosts Bleach, Reborn!, Mashle, Witch Watch, Nue's Exorcist, Kaiju No. 8, Kindergarten Wars, Futsuu no Keionbu, Dark Gathering and Phantom Busters. Jump Station Online rounds it out with KochiKame, Black Clover, Mission: Yozakura Family, High School Family, Chained Soldier, Marriage Toxin, Mr. Clice, The Bugle Call and Gokurakugai.

One absence stands out: Hunter x Hunter, on hiatus since chapter 420, is not on the initial list. That list only covers three magazines, so more programs may still be added before December.

One clarification that avoids disappointment: being on stage is not a promise of an announcement. The event's website says it itself through KAIZO-kun, its pirate mascot: "performers and program details will be announced later". Per-series time slots are not known yet.

How do you get a Jump Festa 2027 ticket?

By entering the lottery in the free Jump NAVI app, required for every visitor of elementary school age and older. Two windows follow each other: October 19 to 26 for digital subscribers of the magazine and holders of its card, then November 2 to 16 for everyone. Entry costs nothing, but without a winning ticket you stay outside.

StepApplication (Japan time)Results
Priority window (digital subscribers, card holders)October 19, 10 a.m. to October 26, 5:59 p.m.November 2, 9:30 a.m.
General window (open to all)November 2, 10 a.m. to November 16, 5:59 p.m.November 24, 9:30 a.m.
Preference tickets (Super Stage, shop, galleries)November 24 to 30December 11, 9:30 a.m.

The entry ticket does not cover everything: seats for the Jump Super Stage, access to purchases at the event shop and the original art galleries go through a second draw, the preference tickets, reserved for entry ticket holders. The new feature for 2027 noted by Famitsu: a premium lounge with drinks and WiFi, reserved for subscribers and card holders.

From outside Japan, it is doable but not comfortable. The app can be downloaded abroad, the whole process is in Japanese, and the Asoventure guide notes it is unclear whether SMS verification accepts non-Japanese numbers; it recommends an eSIM with a real +81 number before applying. If you are planning a December trip to Japan, the general window in early November is your slot: note it now, it closes on the 16th.

How can you watch Jump Festa 2027 from home?

On YouTube, no ticket needed. According to Famitsu, the programs of all three stages will be streamed live on the Jump Channel, and Jump Station Online is a stage built for online broadcast in the first place. That is the part that matters most to those of us watching from America or Europe: with the winter time difference, the event runs from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Eastern Time, starting the evening before.

New York7 p.m. the day before (December 18 and 19)3 a.m.
Mexico City6 p.m. the day before2 a.m.

Event opening hours converted with December time zones (Tokyo UTC+9, London UTC+0, New York UTC-5). Exact per-stage times will be published later: no need to block out all eight hours, the detailed schedule will tell you when to set the alarm.

My advice as a veteran of announcement nights: follow the event's X account, @jumpfesta, which relays the schedule and lottery results. And if you only keep one slot, take Sunday: at the 2026 edition, the One Piece stage closed the event on Sunday from 5:00 to 5:50 p.m. Japan time with the full Straw Hat cast, and the 2027 breakdown is not out yet.

What announcements should you expect?

Jump Festa is where Shueisha and the studios line up their winter announcements: dates, trailers, casts. Nothing is promised for 2027, but the licensing calendar makes some topics hard to avoid. What follows is my fan reading, not a program.

One Piece arrives with the heaviest file: the WIT Studio remake The One Piece is set for February 2027 on Netflix, seven weeks after the event. The stage not mentioning it strikes me as the least likely outcome of the weekend. Kagurabachi gets its biggest pre-series showcase: its anime premieres in April 2027 as a Crunchyroll simulcast, and a dated trailer would be the logical next step. On the Naruto side, the franchise confirmed on September 28 a new "limited" TV anime series, with details promised at the New York Comic Con panel on October 10: by December the roadmap will be known, and Jump Festa will serve as a checkpoint. Demon Slayer, finally, holds a Super Stage slot while part 2 of the Infinity Castle trilogy still has no date: that is exactly the kind of stage where a date drops.

Jump Market, galleries and goods: what is there on site?

The Jump Market gathers merchandise from Jump series plus a food area, and the galleries exhibit original manga pages from current series. Access to purchases at the event shop also goes through a preference ticket drawn between November 24 and 30: you win your place in the queue at the lottery before you ever stand in it.

Bakashop sells nothing from the event, better to say it plainly. But if the wait until December itches, two items from the shop match the Super Stage lineup. The black Karasuno jersey with Hinata and Kageyama numbers at €29.99 (4.9 out of 5, 54 reviews): James Cooper (United States) writes "I ordered a small and it fits me perfectly" and plans to wear it to play volleyball. The Sukuna ring at €14.99 (5 out of 5, 51 reviews): Stefan Wolf (Germany) calls it "really pretty and high quality" and likes that the size adjusts. Allow 7 to 21 days for delivery: ordered by early December, it is on you during the stream. The rest is in the cosplay collection.
