Sukuna cosplay: the kimono, the markings and the ring, piece by piece

What exactly does Sukuna wear in Jujutsu Kaisen?

Sukuna does not have one outfit but two. In Yuji Itadori's body, he wears Yuji's clothes: what flips is the black markings, the dark nails and the grin. Incarnated, he wears a pale kimono with a dark collar, loose over the chest, closed with a patterned sash. That second look is the one cosplay costumes reproduce.

Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, is a Heian-era sorcerer turned the most feared curse in Jujutsu Kaisen, drawn by Gege Akutami after a two-faced, four-armed demon from the Nihon Shoki, Japan's oldest chronicle. His true four-armed form is still manga territory, the anime has not reached it. His weight in the series shows up in our numbers too: "sukuna" is the query that displays our store the most on Google, 77,556 impressions over four weeks according to our Search Console. What does the Sukuna costume include, and why nine bundles?

Every bundle starts from the same base: white kimono with a navy collar, blue diamond-patterned sash, navy obi. The nine versions on the product page add or remove the extras, tabi socks, stick-on tattoo sheets, pink wig, ring. Hence the price spread: 34.99 euros for the base, 89.99 euros for the full pack.

Before ordering the Sukuna costume, look at the photos of each bundle on the page: they show exactly what each one contains. Alice De Luca, an Italian customer, in March 2025: "accurate to the description, the material is good, and a free ring is included". That is the kind of surprise we would rather announce: on some bundles the ring is in the box, no need to buy it separately.

How to do Sukuna's markings: stickers or make-up?

The face markings come down to three zones: the forehead symbol with its central dot, the double line that runs under each eye and breaks at an angle on the cheek, and the short chin stroke. On the body, count the dotted circles on the shoulders, the double bands on wrists and arms, and the chest segments. Without them, the kimono stays a kimono.

The sticker sheets included with some bundles put all of that on in a few minutes, on clean, dry skin. Susanne König, a German customer, in February 2025: "very good quality, the tattoos look really good". For a full convention day, waterproof liquid eyeliner remains more reliable: draw thin, thicken afterwards, set with translucent powder. And do not skip the nails, a very dark purple or black polish changes the hand that shows past the sleeve.

The next level up is the second pair of eyes Sukuna opens below the first when he fully manifests. Draw them closed, one shut-eye line under each real eye: the effect lands without lenses or prosthetics, and it stays readable in photos.

Is the Sukuna ring worth its 14.99 euros?

Yes, if you want the everyday accessory: 5 out of 5 across 51 reviews, the best-rated reference in our whole Jujutsu Kaisen range. The Sukuna ring is engraved with the character's markings, adjustable, and wears fine without any costume. It is not silver, and at this price nobody claims it is.

The reviews agree on the fit. Heinz Groß, a German customer, in July 2025: "it simply widens to whatever size you need". Steven Mitchell, an American customer, wore it on his pinky before thinking of spreading it. One caution, do not force it in one go: Juliana Washington, a British customer, saw her previous one snap from stretching too hard. Antonio Vargas, a Chilean customer, is on his third, "because I end up losing them", which says enough about how much it actually gets worn. Last point of honesty: an Australian customer reports her skin reacted to it, a classic with silver-tone alloys, worth knowing if you are sensitive.

What size should you order for the Sukuna costume?

Each bundle has its own measurement chart on the product page, and that chart is what counts: the reviews show cuts differ from one bundle to the next. A kimono cut forgives more than a fitted uniform, but the sash is what limits you, not the kimono.

In the details of the reviews: José Rodríguez, a Spanish customer, found "the size spot on" for his 1.71 m son. Raúl Serrano, also from Spain, describes a one-size bundle around EU 36-38: his daughter wears it well, but "with a jumper under the kimono, the blue sash no longer closes". Daniel Rosen, an Israeli customer, ordered XL, received L, and the fit was still roomy on him. Two parents bought it for their teenage daughters, no alterations needed. And the only 4 out of 5 on the page comes from a small stain on the kimono that would not wash out: wash cold, inside out, and no tumble dryer, the white of the kimono likes neither.

Where to rewatch Sukuna, and where does the anime stand?

Three passages are enough to nail the cosplay: the first manifestation in episodes 1 and 2, the Shibuya Incident in season 2, which is his arc, and the Culling Game in season 3, which aired from January 8 to March 26, 2026 on Crunchyroll. Season 4 is confirmed and in production, with no date announced.

For face reference shots, the Itadori vs Sukuna clip published by Crunchyroll shows the markings from every angle as early as episode 2. The Japanese voice adds a layer for long-time fans: Junichi Suwabe, who also voices Archer in Fate and Aomine in Kuroko's Basketball. Calendar-wise, season 3 is over and season 4 is confirmed, subtitled The Culling Game Part 2. English-language outlets point to January 2027 at the earliest, because the series' Japanese broadcast slot is booked until then: that is a hypothesis, not an announcement. The real news is expected at Jump Festa, on December 19 and 20, 2026. In other words, you have months ahead to fine-tune the cosplay before the next wave. Manga readers also know Sukuna switches vessels, and the black-haired variant is climbing at conventions; if you only watch the anime, we will say no more.

Who should join a Sukuna cosplay?

The most readable duo remains Sukuna and his vessel: same silhouette, one marked, one not. Yuji Itadori's uniform at 69.99 euros is rated 4.9 out of 5 across 23 reviews, and the contrast does all the work in photos. Frequently asked questions about the Sukuna cosplay

Are Sukuna's markings tattoos?
Nothing in the series presents them as tattoos: they appear when Sukuna takes control of the body and fade when he gives it back. For cosplay, both approaches work: stick-on sheets for a party, waterproof liquid eyeliner set with powder to last a full convention day.

Do you need a wig for a Sukuna cosplay?
Not necessarily. If your hair is short, temporary pink colour spray can do the job, since Sukuna's hair is spikier and wilder than Yuji's. For the exact cut, some bundles of the costume include the pink wig; otherwise any short spiky pink wig works, plan 15 to 25 euros.

Is the Sukuna ring made of silver?
No, and a Spanish customer says it plainly in her review: "it is not silver". It is an engraved silver-tone metal, adjustable, at 14.99 euros. An Australian customer reports her skin reacted to it: if you are sensitive to alloys, wear it on and off.

Can you cosplay Sukuna without the kimono?
Yes, that is the vessel version: Yuji's clothes, the markings on face and arms, the dark nails. It works even better as a duo with an unmarked Yuji. Solo, the kimono stays more recognizable from a distance, especially without the wig.

When does Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 come out?
It is confirmed, subtitled The Culling Game Part 2, with a teaser published by TOHO animation, but no date as of October 8, 2026. The series' Japanese broadcast slot is booked until January 2027, which makes that the earliest possible window, not an announcement. Next checkpoint: Jump Festa, December 19 and 20, 2026.

Which Sukuna version should you pick for Halloween?
The kimono with stick-on markings: recognizable from a distance, on in ten minutes, off just as fast. The full eyeliner make-up holds better but takes a solid half hour, save it for conventions. The ring, you can wear all year round.
