One Piece in Fortnite: the skins, prices and dates of the Treasure Hunters mini-season

Published on November 3, 2026·By Antoine Brault

A French cosplay and manga goods shop since 2023. We try on the costumes we sell, and we write about the series we actually follow. About us.

In short: the Straw Hat crew is in Fortnite from November 1 to December 4, 2026, for the Treasure Hunters mini-season. Luffy, Nami and Usopp are already in the Item Shop, Zoro, Sanji and Chopper arrive on November 7, Buggy on the 13th. Nico Robin and Ace come through the 800 V-Bucks Battle Pass.

What are the dates of the One Piece x Fortnite collaboration?

November 1 to December 4, 2026. Epic Games is giving One Piece a full Fortnite Battle Royale mini-season called Treasure Hunters, bridging the end of Chapter 7 and the start of Chapter 8. According to Anime News Network, a live event closes the season on December 4, and the One Piece cosmetics leave the shop that same day.

The fight takes place on a new map, Crossbones Isle, drawn in the shape of a skull with crossed bones, and the Going Merry drops players at the start of each match instead of the Battle Bus. Fortnite stays free to play: only cosmetics cost money, and that is exactly where the bill can climb.

Which One Piece skins, on which dates and at what price?

Nine One Piece characters arrive in three waves: six outfits and one Sidekick in the Item Shop, plus two outfits in the Battle Pass. Luffy costs 1,800 V-Bucks, the other outfits 1,600, and the bundle with Luffy, Nami, Usopp and the Going Merry glider comes to 4,000 V-Bucks.

The outfits stick to the pre-timeskip look of the anime: Luffy in his red vest, Nami in the striped tee, Zoro in the white shirt with three swords at his hip. One detail I like: Chopper is not an outfit but a Sidekick that follows the player around, which fits his size far better than an adult-height skin would.

What is in the Battle Pass and the Mythic items?

The Treasure Hunters Battle Pass costs 800 V-Bucks, or nothing if you subscribe to Fortnite Crew, and levels up as you play. On the One Piece side it unlocks Nico Robin and Portgas D. Ace; on the Fortnite side, anime versions of house figures like Jones or Hope, redrawn to match the Toei style.

On the island, Devil Fruits become Mythic items: Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit and Ace's Flame-Flame Fruit, joined by Zoro's Three Sword Style and Usopp's slingshot. The gameplay trailer from October 30 shows them in action, treasure chest included.

Why is the tribute video to the first opening getting so much attention?

A few hours after the season launched, Epic released a two-minute video that replays We Are!, the very first opening of the anime back in 1999, performed by Hiroshi Kitadani. The animation comes from Toei Animation itself: directed by Kokoro Kondo, storyboarded by Tetsuo Yajima, with character designs by Chiharu Akakura.

It shows Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Ace and Buggy sharing the screen with Fortnite characters like Peely and Fishstick, in shots modeled on the original opening. One detail says everything about the audience Epic is after: the English version keeps the song in Japanese. You can watch it on Fortnite's YouTube channel and on the One Piece channel in Japan, under the line the key art also carries: "The Greatest Adventure of All Time".

If the season makes you want to catch up on the anime, the Elbaph arc has been airing since April 2026 and new episodes resume in 2027: good timing to close the gap.

The straw hat at 19.99 euros or the skin at 1,800 V-Bucks?

They do not serve the same purpose. The skin stays in the game; the hat goes to conventions, parties or just above your desk. In our shop, Luffy's straw hat costs 19.99 euros and holds a 4.9/5 rating across 25 reviews, the best-rated One Piece accessory we carry.

To complete the crew's gear without touching a sewing kit: the Gum-Gum Fruit shorts at 29.99 euros answer the game's Mythic, Luffy's pirate flag at 19.99 euros dresses the wall behind the screen, and the Chopper hat at 19.99 euros, rated 5/5 across 31 reviews, is the simplest answer to the November 7 Sidekick. Allow 7 to 21 days for delivery: order this week and everything lands before the season ends.

Which Zoro, Nami or Ace cosplay to go with the season?

If you are after a full cosplay rather than an accessory, the three most requested characters of the season each have their answer in our catalog, with prices and no hidden V-Bucks.

Advice from someone who unpacks these boxes all year: the costumes run Asian sizes, one step smaller than European ones. Between two sizes, take the larger. Zoro's three golden earrings go on the left ear, as in the manga; we covered their meaning in the article on Zoro's earrings, and the Nami cosplay guide helps you pick between her outfits. The rest of the crew is waiting in the One Piece collection.

1,800 V-Bucks for the outfit alone. The bundle with Luffy, Nami, Usopp and the Going Merry glider comes to 4,000 V-Bucks, cheaper than buying the three outfits separately with their accessories. The other crew outfits are listed at 1,600 V-Bucks.
