Quick answer: the Choso costume runs from 145.99 euros in XS and S to 151.99 euros in XXL: it is the most expensive piece in our Jujutsu Kaisen range, rated 4.9/5 across 48 reviews. The parcel contains the black outfit and the character's face band, no wig. No kids sizes, and no delivery left before October 31: aim for November parties.
Choso became Jujutsu Kaisen's most endearing character without ever smiling: a 150-year-old half-curse who discovered he had a little brother and decided that would be his whole life. Since season 3 put him back on screen, his black outfit and the band across his face keep coming up in the requests we get. Here is exactly what the price buys, which size to pick, how to finish the cosplay, and what late-October delivery times still allow, with no sugarcoating.
What does the Choso costume include, and why that price?
The listing shows 145.99 to 151.99 euros depending on size, prices checked on October 30 with 90 pieces in stock. It is the top of our range, and the difference shows in the reviews: across 48 of them the rating holds at 4.9/5, and the stitching comes up constantly. María, from Mexico, opens the dance: "very well made, with very strong seams". Giacomo, from Italy, goes further: "the cosplay is really well made, the fabric is light and very comfortable, the trousers have very useful pockets". Pockets in a costume: anyone who has spent an evening with a phone in hand knows what that is worth.
In the parcel: Choso's long black outfit and the band that crosses the face, his signature. Still on you: the shoes, plain and dark for preference, and the hair, more on that below. One rare detail: it is the only costume in our range whose price rises with the size, from 145.99 euros in XS to 151.99 in XXL. Nothing mysterious, the workshop charges for the extra fabric, and we would rather show the gap than hide it inside a single inflated price for everyone.

Which size should you pick, from XS to XXL?
Customer reviews draw a more reliable grid than any measurement chart, because they give the body type along with the size. Jolanta, from Poland, is 1.71 m and confirms the S fits right. Jacques, from Réunion, 1.60 m and a bit over 60 kilos, wears the M and notes the velcro belt leaves some margin. David, from the United States, 1.70 m and 82 kilos, took the XL on the support team's advice and finds it perfect. And Francisca, from Mexico, 1.85 m, floats slightly in her XL: build matters more than height.
| Size | Price | Real customer feedback |
|---|---|---|
| XS / S | 145.99 € | the S fits a slim 1.71 m, and a 1.74 m cosplayer |
| M | 148.99 € | 1.60 m and 60 kilos, adjustable velcro belt |
| L | 148.99 € | "at 1.80 m it fits me like a glove" (Giacomo, Italy) |
| XL | 150.99 € | stocky 1.70 m or lean 1.85 m, both confirm |
| XXL | 151.99 € | recommended by a German customer for broad shoulders |
Below XS, let us be frank: there is no kids size, and at this price it is not the costume you buy for a school playground anyway. For a primary school kid, three outfits in our range come in true kids sizes, Obanai from 110 cm, Muichiro from 120 to 150 cm and Itachi in 135 and 155 cm: our kids anime costume guide compares them centimetre by centimetre.
How to finish the look: the hair and the band across the nose
We do not sell a Choso wig, might as well say it upfront. His hairstyle, two thick pigtails standing on top of the head, can be built two ways: from your own hair if it is long, two hair ties and a good dose of hairspray, or from a generic long black wig tied the same way. Rehearse it before the day, it is the part that takes the most tries, and it costs nothing.
The dark band that crosses his face from cheek to cheek comes in the parcel. If it looks too thick to you in photos, a wide stroke of black eyeliner or eyeshadow spread across the bridge of the nose gives the same effect and holds better through a party. One review deserves quoting to play fair, from Timothy in Great Britain, the only 4-star of the lot: "material seems okay, fairly thin and feels like polyester, but it's expected for the price; it's not exactly the right colour for Choso, close enough though, and I would assume it can be dyed". In the anime, Choso's black does lean purple depending on the light. From a metre away nobody will see it; in a cosplay contest, he did.
Why does Choso call Yuji his brother?
It is the question everyone asks, and the answer is one of Gege Akutami's finest ideas. Choso is the eldest of the Death Painting Wombs, beings half-human half-curse created over a century ago from the blood of Noritoshi Kamo, the most infamous sorcerer in history, whose body was then occupied by Kenjaku. And Kenjaku also occupied, much later, the body of Yuji Itadori's mother. Same "parent", hence brothers: when Choso faces Yuji in Shibuya station, a family memory that never existed forces itself on him, Yuji sitting at the table among his brothers, and he collapses instead of finishing his opponent off.
And Choso had a real reason to kill him: Yuji and Nobara had taken down his two younger brothers, Eso and Kechizu. Episode 37, the one with the fight, is even named after his technique, Red Scale, and specialist critics ranked it among the best anime episodes of 2023. Since then Choso has switched sides: he introduces himself to everyone as Yuji's big brother, with a samurai-grade seriousness the series milks as a running gag. The Execution movie, released in Western theatres in December 2025, revisits Shibuya and bridges into what follows.

Where can you watch Choso right now, and what about season 4?
Season 3, The Culling Game part 1, aired from January 8 to March 26, 2026 on Crunchyroll, which keeps it in its catalogue, and Netflix added it in late July 2026 in part of the world: everyone can catch up this weekend. Choso gets two big moments in it. His duel against Naoya Zenin first, the Zenin clan's contemptuous heir, who learns the hard way that the eldest of the Death Paintings does not joke when someone insults his family. Then his guard post beside Tengen, alongside Yuki Tsukumo, while Yuji and the others enter the Culling Game colonies.

To measure the hype around this arc: the Shibuya arc trailer passed 25 million combined views on YouTube and X in a single day, according to Anime Corner. The follow-up is already locked in, and that is the best news for this costume: season 4, The Culling Game part 2, was announced right after the finale with a teaser showing it in full production. No confirmed date yet, some outlets float early 2027 without a firm source, but one thing is certain: Choso will be back, and his cosplay with him.

A duo with Yuji, or a full Jujutsu Kaisen group
Choso alone commands respect, but the brothers duo is the formula that makes the best photos: a friend in the Yuji Itadori costume at 69.99 euros, the red-collar uniform everyone recognises, and you as the protective big brother right behind. Our Yuji costume guide covers his sizes and wig. For a bigger group, the range covers the whole cast, and the price gap jumps out: Choso really is the top of the Jujutsu Kaisen collection.
| Character | Costume alone | Bundle with wig |
|---|---|---|
| Choso | from 145.99 € | no dedicated wig |
| Yuji Itadori | 69.99 € | 89.99 € |
| Mahito | 54.99 € | from 69.99 € |
| Gojo | 59.99 € | from 71.99 € |
| Toji | 59.99 € | no dedicated wig |
| Sukuna | from 54.99 € (with the ring) | from 68.99 € |

Ordering now: delivery times, honestly
It is October 30, so no false promises: count up to 12 working days for delivery, an order placed today arrives around mid-November, not for the 31st. Recent reviews give the realistic low end: Mariam, from Qatar, received hers in 6 days, Giulia, from Italy, ordered on an April 28 and opened the parcel on May 5. Fast, then, but not magic.
The good news is that a costume at this price is not bought for a single night anyway. November and December costume parties, winter conventions, photo shoots while everyone catches up on season 3, then season 4 on its way: Choso has a long year ahead. Shipping is free across 53 European countries, no minimum. The same delivery times apply to the whole Halloween costumes collection, and to compare other outfits before choosing, our guide to anime costumes for October 31 does the full tour.
